PROFILE ABOUT THE CATERING ESTABLISHMENT

During the recent years Saudi Arabia has undergone extensive development based on challenging plans. Achievements are evident and are tangible to citizens and expatriates alike. This was achieved through the extensive planning of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.

Substantial funds have been spent to complete those planes and projects based on the philosophy and ideals of Islam.

Orbit Catering Est. was established in 1975 by Saudi businessman faisal Hilmi Abu khadra.

Our Establishment is specialized in food processing. We are contractors for both normal and specified catering. We have more than one thousand qualified expert managers and technicians. The establishment is now involved in specialized catering programs in dozens of governmental hospitals in various regions of the kingdom. Total value of contracts completed for the Ministry of health and Ministry of Defense and Aviation amounted to more than 250 Million Riyals, providing service for a total of more than eight thousand hospital beds.

DEVELOPING OF CATERING CONCEPTS:

Close cooperation between orbit Catering Est., nutrition specialists of MOH and hospital management to develop catering programs for diabetic and other special diets using popular Saudi food and feeding habuts.

Popular food in each district to be introduced without disturbance to a stringent meal balance.

Providing a choice, menu for the first time in the hospitals of the Ministry of Health (King khalid Hospital in Tabuk and Hail). This system provides complete meals and satisfies patient tastes and desires.

The Est. has a catering data centre. All technical research is conducted to ensure best methods of food preparation and service.

Data centre includes a library containing feeding programs and advanced management established by coordination with major producers of such programs in USA, Britain and feeding administration in Saudi Arabia.

Special training program for Saudi personnel.

ACTIVITIES OF THE ESTABLISHMENT IN VARIOUS DISTRICTS OF SAUDI ARABIA.

Hail (1) District: King Khaild Hospital in Hail, General Hospital of Hail and associated facilities (Marfag, Alshamli, Al Salmi, Bagaa).

Jizan District : King Fahad in Jizan sabia, Beash, Abu arish, Jizan, Hospitals and health institute.

Northern Region : King Khalid Hospital in Tabuk.

Madina District : prince Abdul Muhsin General Hospital Mahad, Badr Hanakia – Al Wajh.

Sharoura : Sharoura General Hospital.

Najran : Najran General Hospital and Associated facilities King khalid Hospital in Najran.

Hafr Al Batin : King khalid Hospital in Hafr Al Batin.

Riyadh District : Riyadh central Hospital, Al Aflaj General Hospital, Al yamama Hospital.

Jeddeh District : King Abdul Aziz University Hospital (500 Beds).

Implementation of international standards and specifications and further development and modification thereof to suit national requirements contribute to the quality performance provided by the establishment.

We have highly qualified and experienced personnel in all sections. There is a main committee for the development of quality assurance, quality control programs and supervision for optimum health care catering services.
Orbit Est. conducts training courses by professional instructors.
