Orbit Health Company Profile

Orbit Summit Health, a limited liability company was established in 1985. It was a collaboration between Orbit Establishment, a Saudi Company owned be Mr. Faisal Hilmi Abu khadra and Summit Health Ltd., based in Los Angeles, California for the purpose of playing its role in the development of health care services in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Orbit Summit Health. Currently manages and operates through its technical and administrative staff five hospitals with a total capacity of 1.100 beds under contract with Ministry of Health K.S.A.

These hospitals comprise complete medical and operating facilities together with Outpatient Clinics and Emergency / Trauma Units.

In all these hospitals OSHL has implemented comprehensive procedures to ensure:-
1- Medical Management
2- Biomedical Maintenance
3- Non- Medical Maintenance
4- Catering Services
Our mandate for the future is to continue expanding the horizons of health care delivery improving its quality and achieving overall efficiencies of operation in the kingdom and to achieve the desired goals with collaboration from the private healthcare sector in managing government owned hospitals.

About the Summit Health Ltd

Summit Health Ltd is a U.S. Corporation that has vast experience in International Health Care services. The Corporation owns and manages a variety of healthcare centers. This is achieved through its highly experienced and professional staff covering all aspects, of healthcare.
Amongst its activities, Summit Health is involved in turnkey operation, the production and development of world- class pharmaceuticals, as well as the management of Rehabilitation Centers, Nursing and Senior Citizens Retirement Homes.

Amongst its assets Summit Health owns and operates:-

a) 12 General Hospitals with total bed capacity of 1.648 beds.
b) 17 Long Term Care Centers with total bed capacity of 2.230 beds,
c) 4 Senior Citizens Retirement Homes.
These are distributed geographically between California, Arizona, Texas and lowa.

Further to these facilities Summit Health owns and operates several drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, blood banks, and emergency care centers that are spread out across the United States.

Summit Health Ltd. Is considered as one of the most innovative corporations in the healthcare industry in the United states.
Revenue for 1990 from its operations was 376 million U.S. Dollars.

Hospital Management

The hospital under the management of Orbit Summit Health comprise all medical departments and Outpatient Clinics which are equipped with state of the art medical and non- medical equipment.

Among the most important department are: Diagnostic Radiology and X-Ray, Coronary care, Laboratory Analysis, Maternity, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, pediatrics, E.N.T. and Dentistry.

All department are manned by highly qualified medical, nursing and paramedical staff headed by a principal Committee who is responsible to implement programs to ensure Quality Assurance in the field of nursing and other health care services up to international standards.

Employee participation and training

A major factor in delivering quality healthcare is the participation of personnel in on- going training programs, discussion groups and seminars.

We encourage this process by providing training programmers in management, safety and accident prevention, these are in- house programs designed to provide theoretical as well as practical training.

In addition to these programs, we provide our personnel with human relation seminars designed to assist them in their ability to communicate with their patients as well as their colleagues in a more effective manner.

3) A full-time Recruitment Director and his staff coordinate with specially selected recruitment offices in the United States, the United kingdom, Belgium, France, the Scandinavian countries, Egypt, Jordan, India, Pakistan and the Philippines,

4) Skilled interviewers from Our Company then travel to the various countries to personally interview each applicant to join us in the kingdom.
